Abraham took another wife, whose name was Keturah. (Gén 25:2)  -  1 / 80.

She bore him Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, and Shuah. (Gén 25:3)  -  2 / 80.

Jokshan fathered Sheba and Dedan. The sons of Dedan were Asshurim, Letushim, and Leummim. (Gén 25:4)  -  3 / 80.

The sons of Midian were Ephah, Epher, Hanoch, Abida, and Eldaah. All these were the children of Keturah. (Gén 25:5)  -  4 / 80.

Abraham gave all he had to Isaac. (Gén 25:6)  -  5 / 80.

But to the sons of his concubines Abraham gave gifts, and while he was still living he sent them away from his son Isaac, eastward to the east country. (Gén 25:7)  -  6 / 80.

These are the days of the years of Abrahams life, 175 years. (Gén 25:8)  -  7 / 80.

Abraham breathed his last and died in a good old age, an old man and full of years, and was gathered to his people. (Gén 25:9)  -  8 / 80.

Isaac and Ishmael his sons buried him in the cave of Machpelah, in the field of Ephron the son of Zohar the Hittite, east of Mamre, (Gén 25:10)  -  9 / 80.

the field that Abraham purchased from the Hittites. There Abraham was buried, with Sarah his wife. (Gén 25:11)  -  10 / 80.

After the death of Abraham, God blessed Isaac his son. And Isaac settled at Beer-lahai-roi. (Gén 25:12)  -  11 / 80.

These are the generations of Ishmael, Abrahams son, whom Hagar the Egyptian, Sarahs servant, bore to Abraham. (Gén 25:13)  -  12 / 80.

These are the names of the sons of Ishmael, named in the order of their birth: Nebaioth, the firstborn of Ishmael; and Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam, (Gén 25:14)  -  13 / 80.

Mishma, Dumah, Massa, (Gén 25:15)  -  14 / 80.

Hadad, Tema, Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. (Gén 25:16)  -  15 / 80.

These are the sons of Ishmael and these are their names, by their villages and by their encampments, twelve princes according to their tribes. (Gén 25:17)  -  16 / 80.

(These are the years of the life of Ishmael: 137 years. He breathed his last and died, and was gathered to his people.) (Gén 25:18)  -  17 / 80.

They settled from Havilah to Shur, which is opposite Egypt in the direction of Assyria. He settled[1] over against all his kinsmen. (Gén 25:19)  -  18 / 80.

These are the generations of Isaac, Abrahams son: Abraham fathered Isaac, (Gén 25:20)  -  19 / 80.

and Isaac was forty years old when he took Rebekah to be his wife, the daughter of Bethuel the Aramean of Paddan-aram, the sister of Laban the Aramean. (Gén 25:21)  -  20 / 80.

And Isaac prayed to the LORD for his wife, because she was barren. And the LORD granted his prayer, and Rebekah his wife conceived. (Gén 25:22)  -  21 / 80.

The children struggled together within her, and she said, If it is thus, why is this happening to me? So she went to inquire of the LORD. (Gén 25:23)  -  22 / 80.

And the LORD said to her, Two nations are in your womb, and two peoples from within you shall be divided; the one shall be stronger than the other, the older shall serve the younger. (Gén 25:24)  -  23 / 80.

When her days to give birth were completed, behold, there were twins in her womb. (Gén 25:25)  -  24 / 80.

The first came out red, all his body like a hairy cloak, so they called his name Esau. (Gén 25:26)  -  25 / 80.

Afterward his brother came out with his hand holding Esaus heel, so his name was called Jacob. Isaac was sixty years old when she bore them. (Gén 25:27)  -  26 / 80.

When the boys grew up, Esau was a skillful hunter, a man of the field, while Jacob was a quiet man, dwelling in tents. (Gén 25:28)  -  27 / 80.

Isaac loved Esau because he ate of his game, but Rebekah loved Jacob. (Gén 25:29)  -  28 / 80.

Once when Jacob was cooking stew, Esau came in from the field, and he was exhausted. (Gén 25:30)  -  29 / 80.

And Esau said to Jacob, Let me eat some of that red stew, for I am exhausted! (Therefore his name was called Edom. ) (Gén 25:31)  -  30 / 80.

Jacob said, Sell me your birthright now. (Gén 25:32)  -  31 / 80.

Esau said, I am about to die; of what use is a birthright to me? (Gén 25:33)  -  32 / 80.

Jacob said, Swear to me now. So he swore to him and sold his birthright to Jacob. (Gén 25:34)  -  33 / 80.

Then Jacob gave Esau bread and lentil stew, and he ate and drank and rose and went his way. Thus Esau despised his birthright. (Gén 26:1)  -  34 / 80.

Now there was a famine in the land, besides the former famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went to Gerar to Abimelech king of the Philistines. (Gén 26:2)  -  35 / 80.

And the LORD appeared to him and said, Do not go down to Egypt; dwell in the land of which I shall tell you. (Gén 26:3)  -  36 / 80.

Sojourn in this land, and I will be with you and will bless you, for to you and to your offspring I will give all these lands, and I will establish the oath that I swore to Abraham your father. (Gén 26:4)  -  37 / 80.

I will multiply your offspring as the stars of heaven and will give to your offspring all these lands. And in your offspring all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, (Gén 26:5)  -  38 / 80.

because Abraham obeyed my voice and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws. (Gén 26:6)  -  39 / 80.

So Isaac settled in Gerar. (Gén 26:7)  -  40 / 80.

When the men of the place asked him about his wife, he said, She is my sister, for he feared to say, My wife, thinking, lest the men of the place should kill me because of Rebekah, because she was attractive in appearance. (Gén 26:8)  -  41 / 80.

When he had been there a long time, Abimelech king of the Philistines looked out of a window and saw Isaac laughing with[1] Rebekah his wife. (Gén 26:9)  -  42 / 80.

So Abimelech called Isaac and said, Behold, she is your wife. How then could you say, She is my sister? Isaac said to him, Because I thought, Lest I die because of her. (Gén 26:10)  -  43 / 80.

Abimelech said, What is this you have done to us? One of the people might easily have lain with your wife, and you would have brought guilt upon us. (Gén 26:11)  -  44 / 80.

So Abimelech warned all the people, saying, Whoever touches this man or his wife shall surely be put to death. (Gén 26:12)  -  45 / 80.

And Isaac sowed in that land and reaped in the same year a hundredfold. The LORD blessed him, (Gén 26:13)  -  46 / 80.

and the man became rich, and gained more and more until he became very wealthy. (Gén 26:14)  -  47 / 80.

He had possessions of flocks and herds and many servants, so that the Philistines envied him. (Gén 26:15)  -  48 / 80.

(Now the Philistines had stopped and filled with earth all the wells that his fathers servants had dug in the days of Abraham his father.) (Gén 26:16)  -  49 / 80.

And Abimelech said to Isaac, Go away from us, for you are much mightier than we. (Gén 26:17)  -  50 / 80.

So Isaac departed from there and encamped in the valley of Gerar and settled there. (Gén 26:18)  -  51 / 80.

And Isaac dug again the wells of water that had been dug in the days of Abraham his father, which the Philistines had stopped after the death of Abraham. And he gave them the names that his father had given them. (Gén 26:19)  -  52 / 80.

But when Isaacs servants dug in the valley and found there a well of spring water, (Gén 26:20)  -  53 / 80.

the herdsmen of Gerar quarreled with Isaacs herdsmen, saying, The water is ours. So he called the name of the well Esek, because they contended with him. (Gén 26:21)  -  54 / 80.

Then they dug another well, and they quarreled over that also, so he called its name Sitnah. (Gén 26:22)  -  55 / 80.

And he moved from there and dug another well, and they did not quarrel over it. So he called its name Rehoboth, saying, For now the LORD has made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land. (Gén 26:23)  -  56 / 80.

From there he went up to Beersheba. (Gén 26:24)  -  57 / 80.

And the LORD appeared to him the same night and said, I am the God of Abraham your father. Fear not, for I am with you and will bless you and multiply your offspring for my servant Abrahams sake. (Gén 26:25)  -  58 / 80.

So he built an altar there and called upon the name of the LORD and pitched his tent there. And there Isaacs servants dug a well. (Gén 26:26)  -  59 / 80.

When Abimelech went to him from Gerar with Ahuzzath his adviser and Phicol the commander of his army, (Gén 26:27)  -  60 / 80.

Isaac said to them, Why have you come to me, seeing that you hate me and have sent me away from you? (Gén 26:28)  -  61 / 80.

They said, We see plainly that the LORD has been with you. So we said, let there be a sworn pact between us, between you and us, and let us make a covenant with you, (Gén 26:29)  -  62 / 80.

that you will do us no harm, just as we have not touched you and have done to you nothing but good and have sent you away in peace. You are now the blessed of the LORD. (Gén 26:30)  -  63 / 80.

So he made them a feast, and they ate and drank. (Gén 26:31)  -  64 / 80.

In the morning they rose early and exchanged oaths. And Isaac sent them on their way, and they departed from him in peace. (Gén 26:32)  -  65 / 80.

That same day Isaacs servants came and told him about the well that they had dug and said to him, We have found water. (Gén 26:33)  -  66 / 80.

He called it Shibah; therefore the name of the city is Beersheba to this day. (Gén 26:34)  -  67 / 80.

When Esau was forty years old, he took Judith the daughter of Beeri the Hittite to be his wife, and Basemath the daughter of Elon the Hittite, (Gén 26:35)  -  68 / 80.

and they made life bitter for Isaac and Rebekah. (Gén 27:1)  -  69 / 80.

When Isaac was old and his eyes were dim so that he could not see, he called Esau his older son and said to him, My son; and he answered, Here I am. (Gén 27:2)  -  70 / 80.

He said, Behold, I am old; I do not know the day of my death. (Gén 27:3)  -  71 / 80.

Now then, take your weapons, your quiver and your bow, and go out to the field and hunt game for me, (Gén 27:4)  -  72 / 80.

and prepare for me delicious food, such as I love, and bring it to me so that I may eat, that my soul may bless you before I die. (Gén 27:5)  -  73 / 80.

Now Rebekah was listening when Isaac spoke to his son Esau. So when Esau went to the field to hunt for game and bring it, (Gén 27:6)  -  74 / 80.

Rebekah said to her son Jacob, I heard your father speak to your brother Esau, (Gén 27:7)  -  75 / 80.

Bring me game and prepare for me delicious food, that I may eat it and bless you before the LORD before I die. (Gén 27:8)  -  76 / 80.

Now therefore, my son, obey my voice as I command you. (Gén 27:9)  -  77 / 80.

Go to the flock and bring me two good young goats, so that I may prepare from them delicious food for your father, such as he loves. (Gén 27:10)  -  78 / 80.

And you shall bring it to your father to eat, so that he may bless you before he dies. (Gén 27:11)  -  79 / 80.

But Jacob said to Rebekah his mother, Behold, my brother Esau is a hairy man, and I am a smooth man. (Gén 27:12)  -  80 / 80.
